Concern over plans to replace wooden windows

Town councillors have recommended a former colleague and town mayor should not be permitted to change wooden sash windows for uPVC ones. 

At a meeting of Newtown Town Council's Economy and Environment Committee last night (Monday), town councillors considered a planning application going to Powys County Council from Mrs Sue Newham, a former town councillor who served between 2012 and 2019 and was mayor between 2017 and 2019.
