That's one of the main decisions being proposed at the upcoming Resources Committee meeting on Monday.

The Town Council ran a similar scheme for the Queen's Platinum Jubilee where £50 was offered to applicants to support community events to purchase food, decorations or hall hire.

This time around the Council are proposing to up the overall budget to £100 per applicant with an overall budget of £2000. They are also proposing to tweak the criteria to include a bigger time where events.

It is likely that Town Councillors will approve the recommendation.
