To mark the Coronation of His Majesty The King and Her Majesty The Queen Consort, Newtown & Llanllwchaiarn Town Council is inviting local residents who wish to stage neighbourhood street/estate-party type events during the celebration period, to apply for funding of up to £100 to contribute to event costs.

To apply, please visit the guidance on the Town Council website here: https://newtown.org.uk/uncategorized/council-offers-coronation-grants.html 

The application can either be emailed to [email protected] or a paper copy delivered to: The Council Offices, Brisco House, The Cross, Broad St, Newtown, SY16 2BB.

The deadline for applications is Friday 5th May 2023.

If you wish to apply to Powys County Council for a road closure, please note, the deadline for road closures is 12th March.
