Buying derelict and empty properties in Newtown and placing them onto the market is being looked at, says a county councillor.

Councillor Pete Lewington (Welsh Conservative, Newtown West) told a Town Council meeting last week that he is looking into what powers Powys County Council has to bring properties back onto the housing market.
