Good news for 'foodies' as Newtown festival set to serve up a treat

Newtown Food Festival will go ahead “as good, if not better, than in previous years” despite concerns that costs to host this year’s event have risen by almost 50 per cent.

Newtown and Llanllwchaiarn Town Council, which helps run the festival, was told this week that the event “must and will go ahead” as part of the town’s Covid recovery.
