High Street expected to open later

Improvement works to High Street are finally coming to an end after confirmation of tarmacking and white line painting.

Cllr Joy Jones, County Councillor for Newtown East (which covers the Town Centre) posted on Facebook earlier:

High Street improvement works should have been finalised by April 2022, but have been delayed due to material shortages and changes to the road following adoption of a one-way traffic order.
