A major Newtown road will be closed for resurfacing next week.

Llanfair Road in Newtown will be closed between 23rd and 27th January 2023 during the hours of 7:30am and 5pm while resurfacing works take place by Powys County Council.

In the notice, published this morning, it explains that access will be maintained for residents and emergency services.

The official diversion is via Aberbechan and Highgate.
