A Newtown man accused of assaulting his ex-partner when she tried to end their relationship has denied the offence.

Curtis Jefferies, of Lon Glanyrafon, denies two charges of assaulting Lucy Hawksworth, including causing her actual bodily harm on August 18 last year, when it is said she broke up with the 22-year-old.
