A teenager from Newtown is in court over attempts to possess magic mushrooms will face trial later this year on charges that he failed to provide a sample for police analysis.

Alfred Evans, 18, was spoken to by police on August 4 in Newtown and faces three charges, including attempted possession of magic mushrooms, a drug of Class A, as well as possession of cannabis. Evans also faces a third charge of failing to provide a specimen for analysis after his arrest.
