
Points and fine for Powys driver caught using his phone

Daniel Jones from Newtown has been fined and had points placed on his licence after he was convicted of using his mobile phone while driving.
Jones, 36, of Lon Helyg, was not present at Llanelli Magistrates' Court on Thursday, August 11, to hear he must pay a total financial penalty of £344 as well as having six points put on his licence for the offence, which happened in Machynlleth on February 10 this year.
