A Newtown man must pay hundreds of pounds after police found a trace of herbal cannabis in his rucksack.

Kieran Townsend, 24, admitted having two cannabis grinders which had an unspecified amount of the Class B drug in his rucksack which was searched by police after being arrested for a separate matter on May 25, last year, in Newtown.
