Town Councillors are set to vote on a motion welcoming the changes to High Street, but making suggestions for enhancements

At the next meeting of Newtown & Llanllwchaiarn Town Council on Monday 25th July 2022, town councillors will be discussing a motion from Cllr Richard White, which proposes:

Council welcomes the recent refubishment by the county council of the High Street, and calls for adjustments/enhancements as follows:
Further provision of litter bins
Rotate the benches to face High Street

It is understood that Councillor Joy Jones, the county councillor for the area, has already secured the benches on High Street to be rotated away from the shops and towards the street.
