A woman who has lived in Newtown all her life has celebrated her 100th birthday with a special party.

Marjorie Jones was joined by her nephew Wynfred and his wife Angela, residents and staff at Plas Cae Crwn, and Newtown Mayor John Byrne to celebrate the big occasion.
