Newtown and Llanllwchaiarn Town Council is calling upon community organisations and individuals committed to creating positive change to apply for their biannual grant funding program.

As advocates for initiatives that improve the lives of residents and have a tangible impact on the community, the council is eager to support projects that make a real difference.

The deadline for the next round of grant applications is rapidly approaching on September 30th. Community members involved in organizations dedicated to enhancing Newtown and Llanllwchaiarn are encouraged to submit their proposals by this date. By providing financial support, the council aims to empower these community-based projects to thrive and flourish.

In their most recent round of grants, the town council proudly awarded just under £9000 to deserving initiatives within the community. The beneficiaries included esteemed organizations such as the Mid-Wales Model Engineering Society, Montgomeryshire Family Crisis Centre, Hub of Hope Foundation, and N-Able. These organizations have demonstrated their commitment to making a significant difference in Newtown and Llanllwchaiarn, and the council is determined to support others in achieving similar positive outcomes.

This presents an incredible opportunity for community-based projects to secure funding that will enable them to realize their goals. To download the application forms and for more information visit https://newtown.org.uk/community-fund-grant
