LETTER – Time to save Newtown landmark from years of neglect

I noticed, while crossing Long Bridge today, a heritage plaque indicating that the bridge will be celebrating its bicentenary in 2026.

This long-neglected Newtown landmark with its peeling paintwork and vegetation growing out of its masonry is in dire need of some respect from Powys County Council.
