Man in hospital after being struck by car in Newtown

Police are appealing for witnesses after a pedestrian was taken to hospital with serious injuries after he was struck by a car in Newtown on Friday night (February 3).

The man, in his 60s, was hit by a grey Toyota Avensis in the Garthowen area of town at around 7.20pm.
