In his latest report, which will be heard by town councillors on Monday evening, he outlined the events he attended during the month of March.

On Wednesday, March 8th, the Mayor was invited, along with other Councillors, to an event to unveil the Laura Ashley plaque. He was asked to say a few words and to unveil the plaque. The event was attended by press and broadcasters, who highlighted the life and work of Laura Ashley and her family. The event also highlighted the opportunities created in the area of Mid Wales.

Unfortunately, two events that the Mayor was scheduled to attend on Thursday, March 9th, and Friday, March 10th were canceled. The Y Lawnt Flats opening event and the Sarah Brisco Trust Meeting were both cancelled.

The Mayor has been meeting with the Town Clerk on a weekly basis or when required. These meetings are essential to keep the Mayor up to date on town activities and to discuss any issues that need to be addressed.

The Mayor's engagements in the community help to highlight the positive aspects of the area and the people who make it a great place to live. The events also provide an opportunity for the Mayor to meet with local residents, business owners, and community leaders.
