Milford Road residents complained about noise

Complaints about loud noise at the Newtown Food Festival were mainly from residents on Milford Road, town councillors have been told.

It emerged after the event that complaints were made town organisers and Powys County Council over the loudness of music at the event over two days earlier this month at the Town Hall grounds.
