The new street name for the properties at the former Travis Perkins site in New Road is set to be considered by the town council.

The Economy & Environment Committee of Newtown & Llanllwchaiarn Town Council on Monday 5th December is set to consider a proposed name for the development of 32 affordable apartments at the former Travis Perkins site in New Road, Newtown.

The developer has proposed the name 'Millers Place'.

The Town Council is a statutory consultee on new street naming and numbering under the 1925 Public Health Act and can object to the proposed name if it wishes.
