A fish and chip shop owner who fed more than 3,800 children in Newtown with free meals over the summer holidays is calling on businesses to help raise £10,000 for local foodbanks to help feed people in need this Christmas.
Corey Eadsonn, owner of the Garth Owen Fish Bar in Newtown, said he is going to visit businesses and factories in the area to urge them to dig deep into their pockets and help make sure local families are not left hungry and without gifts this Christmas.
