Newtown motorist was driving at 55mph through Welshpool

A man from Newtown has learnt an expensive lesson after he was fined more than £800 for speeding.

Toby Lewis McDonnell, 38, was spotted driving his Seat Leon on Salop Road in Welshpool, where the speed limit is 30 miles per hour, at 55mph at around 10.14am on April 7 this year.
