Bricks wrapped in festive paper were used as projectiles in a disturbing series of incidents that occurred in Newtown over the festive season.

On Christmas Day, three homes in the Garth Owen area were targeted, while another property in Kerry was hit on New Year's Day.

Local residents are now being urged to come forward with any information that may aid the ongoing investigation by Dyfed-Powys Police.

The first wave of attacks took place in the early hours of Monday, December 25, in Garth Owen.

The authorities have stated that these incidents are likely to be linked due to their close proximity and similarities.

Following the disturbing incidents, Dyfed-Powys Police have issued a public call for assistance.

Investigators are urging anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity around the time of the incidents or who has any helpful information to come forward.

Individuals who wish to share information with the police are encouraged to do so via various channels.

They can report any useful information to Dyfed-Powys Police by accessing the online platform: https://bit.ly/DPPContactOnline

Alternatively, they can email [email protected] or call 101. For those who are deaf, hard of hearing, or speech impaired, there is also the option to send a text to the non-emergency number at 07811 311 908.
