A police helicopter was deployed during the early hours of Wednesday morning (July 13) following a report that a man was shooting at property in a residential area in Newtown.

Police officers carried out a search using a police helicopter after the man walked off in the direction of Pine Court following the disturbance in the Falcon Court area of Maesyrhandir just before midnight on Tuesday (July 12).
