Newtown & Llanllwchaiarn have announced that yet more damage has been done to St Mary's Church, with significant damage to the front door of the Pryce family mausoleum.

Announcing the damage on social media, the Town Counci said that the front door of the mausoleum has been significantly damaged and had to be removed for repairs. They added that the incident has been reported to Dyfed Powys Police, along with the available CCTV footage, for a investigation.

"The Town Council is deeply saddened by this act of vandalism, which not only damages a historic structure but also undermines the respect and appreciation for our local heritage.
