The Powys Shared Prosperity Fund Local Partnership has announced the launch of the third call for applications for the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF).
This funding programme aims to help Powys communities build pride in place, improve opportunities for residents, and drive economic growth.
With over £23m of UK Government funding available, the partnership will consider applications within the People and Skills priority area.
Cllr David Selby, Chair of the Powys Shared Prosperity Fund Local Partnership, emphasized the objective of the Shared Prosperity Fund to enhance community pride and increase opportunities for residents and businesses.
The partnership intends to carefully assess applications to ensure maximum value is derived for individuals, communities, and businesses in Powys. The People and Skills priority focus presents an opportunity to transform lives through upskilling, retraining, and developing employability skills.
Applications for the third window are open until Sunday, 1 October, 2023, with a deadline of 23:59.
