As we reported last week, residents expressed their frustration at the new speed bumps.

As a result, Powys County Council has announced an urgent road closure along Hoel Treowen for two days to carry out remedial resurfacing. The resurfacing will take place between 7:30am and 6pm on Monday 15th and Tuesday 16th May 2023.

The official diversion is via the Newtown bypass while the road is closed.
