Confirming his acceptance of the role as Chief Executive Officer at the Forest of Dean District Council, Nigel revealed that it was a difficult decision to make after his long tenure at Powys.

However, he expressed his excitement at the new opportunity both personally and professionally. Throughout his time at Powys, Nigel experienced a wide range of responsibilities and interesting projects, which he considered to be significant milestones in his career.

He acknowledged the invaluable support, guidance, and friendship he received from the wider Powys team, expressing his everlasting gratitude.

The departure of Nigel Brinn will undoubtedly leave a void at Powys County Council, especially with the recent departure of Chief Executive, Dr Caroline Turnrer, but his contributions and achievements will be remembered as he embarks on a new chapter of his career.
