Newtown Town Council has announced that a fencing installation will begin at the town centre park on Monday, April 17th.

The installation is expected to last for approximately two weeks, with initial work starting on Friday. The council has stated that all efforts will be made to minimize disruption to the public, although the park may need to be closed off at times during the installation process.

The contractors will be on site to install the fencing, and heavy plant and machinery will be present in the area. As such, the council is urging members of the public to take care when in the vicinity of the park.

Despite the installation process, the council has stated that it hopes to keep the park open in some capacity throughout the two-week period. Updates will be provided throughout the process to keep members of the public informed about the progress.

This project aims to improve the town centre park and make it a safer place for visitors to enjoy.
