Newtown and Llanllwchaiarn Town Council has announced the winners of the 'Festive Window Wonderland' public vote competition.

The event, which aimed to spread festive cheer and showcase the creativity of the community, has been a resounding success.

The town was filled with an array of dazzling window displays, each one more imaginative than the last.

After much anticipation, a deserving winner has emerged from the competition. Nail Envy has taken the top spot with their outstanding and imaginative 'naughty elf' window display. The attention to detail and commitment to the theme truly impressed the voters.

Runners up were HSBC with their elf style bank heist theme.

More than 400 votes were cast in the public vote, and in the end, there were only a few votes that made the difference.

In a statement, a Town Council spokesperson said:

"We encourage everyone to take a stroll through town and appreciate the beautiful displays that have adorned various windows, adding a touch of magic to our community."

"The Town Council would like to thank each and every one of you who got involved, voted, and contributed to making 'Festive Window Wonderland' a delightful success."
