Newtown man fined over £1,000 for abandoning car for several weeks

George McGleave from Newtown has been ordered to pay more than £1,000 in fines and costs after abandoning a car in a residential street.

George McGleave, of Lon Maesycoed, Maesyrhandir, was prosecuted by Stafford Borough Council for abandoning a vehicle on land in the open air for almost six weeks.
