Dyfed Powys Police is currently investigating an alleged incident of assault involving a weapon that took place in the town centre.

Dyfed Powys Police are investigating an alleged incident of assualt involving a weapon that took place near Park Lane on Friday 19th January 2024 at around 7:30pm.

The victim, a 22-year-old man, was assaulted and subsequently sought medical attention. He has since been discharged from the hospital.

Following the incident, the police arrested two men, aged 29 and 34, on suspicion of assault. They have been released on conditional bail as the investigation progresses.

A spokesperson from Dyfed Powys Police confirmed that the investigation is ongoing and they are not actively seeking any additional persons in relation to this incident.
